— check the overall strengths and weaknesses of your hitters and/or opposing hitters.

— tip: have players pay attention to the shaded areas.

— tip #2: blue is not necessarily bad. A stat such as Miss%, for example, is better if it is blue (low swing/miss tendency).

 

— red and blue shadings indicate high or low performance compared to the major league average

— traditional statistics such as batting average, plus in-depth stats such as Well Hit Avg.

— performance vs. right-handed and left-handed pitching helps in lineup selection if used on your own players.

— performance vs. each pitch type helps identify areas to work on if used on your own players.

— a great report to run every month or so on your hitters so they can study themselves and look for areas that need improvement, or have shown improvement.
