— great feedback tool for your pitchers after a bullpen, game, or intrasquad. Answers the question "how well did I hit my spots?"

REPORT FEATURES

— each pitch is automatically determined by PalmScout to be either a Hit Spot, Slight Miss, or Major Miss.

definition of terms

HIT SPOT - catcher didn't move his glove to catch the pitch.

SLIGHT MISS - catcher barely moved his glove to catch the pitch.

MAJOR MISS - pitch missed the intended target by a lot.

COMMAND RATING - a way to gauge the command of the pitcher. Calculated by taking the Hit Spot% + 1/2 of the Slight Miss%.

— hitter performance against each category is given. For example, this report shows hitters were 0 for 31 when the pitcher hit his spot.
